Fraser Health Authority (FH) intends to enter into an agreement with Apex Elevator Consulting Inc. for D027-00 FH RCH HCC Elevators # 4,5,6 Modernization Project and E403-00 FH RCH HCC Elevators # 1, 2, 3 Modernization Project. The additional contract value is $20,000 with $117,579.88 completed for the maximum contract value of $137,579.88 - plus tax.. FH has chosen not to complete a public tendering process but negotiate the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
 
  • Apex Elevator Consulting Inc. has completed the previous work and is currently on site (Royal Columbian Hospital) working on Elevators #1-6.
 
  • Apex Elevator Consulting Inc. has extensive knowledge of Royal Columbian Hospital, the elevators and design specifications. All of these elevators are critical to clinical and facility operations and patient care.
 
  • Apex Elevator Consulting Inc. is registered and complies with all applicable WorkSafe BC regulations.
 
  • Apex Elevator Consulting Inc. has Comprehensive Commercial General Liability insurance coverage in an amount not less than $5,000,000.00 inclusive per occurrence against bodily injury, personal injury and property damage.
 
  • Apex Elevator Consulting Inc. has Automobile Liability insurance coverage on all vehicles owned, operated or licensed in an amount not less than $ 2,000,000.00.

Provide proof showing your qualifications, workplan, insurance coverage, and worksafe BC clearance letter related to the requirements defined in this NOI. Only challenges from qualified consultants will be reviewed.
