Description
The North Peace Regional Airport is requesting proposals for the lifecycle replacement of ARFF equipment which is reaching the end of its ten-year lifespan as defined
in the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1971 life cycle replacement. The current ARFF Personal Protective Equipment requires replacement due to age-related component lifespans. The PPE included in this project proposal includes fully certified, complete bunker gear (turnout gear) sets consisting of a jacket, pants, helmets, boots, flash hoods, and gloves. Replacement will also include options for SCBA packs with masks, cylinders (including spares) and a fill station with compressor and compressed air storage to facilitate refilling SBCA cylinders. The successful Proponent will be responsible to implement and carry out a plan of services that adheres to prescribed regulations, while providing the highest level of services at the Airport.
