Description
Notice is hereby given by the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (“CSRD”) of its intent to award a contract to Turn-Key Controls Ltd. for the annual monitoring and maintenance of the SCADA radio communication at nine (9) CSRD water system sites.

The proposed contract with Turn-Key Controls Ltd. would be for three (3) years with an option for two (2) single year extensions.  The estimated year one value of the contract is $40,000. 

The CSRD chose to solicit a price from Turn-Key Controls Ltd., due to the following rationale:
 
    All CSRD water systems are monitored utilizing a SCADA system, Turn-Key Controls Ltd. provided the installation of the initial SCADA system and this will ensure continuity of maintenance and support. To ensure compatibility and standardization with existing products and system. Substantial technical risk in contracting with another contractor as Turn-Key is familiar with current system and future upgrades needed to system.

Suppliers wishing to object to this decision should email their objection by Friday February 28, 2025, no later than 2:00pm, local time to: procurement@csrd.bc.ca, Attention: Dona Thiem

Suppliers objecting must provide specific reasons for their objection. The Suppliers ability to provide product and services at a lower cost and of the same or better quality will be the key criteria with regard to the consideration of Suppliers objections.
