V8T 1Z4   INVITATION TO TENDER   You are invited to submit a quotation for the following:    Project:                                                          Galiano, Affordable Housing Project – Phase 2 Tender - Construction   280 Georgeson Bay Road Galiano Island, BC V0N 1P0   The project consists of the construction of 20 new residential units. This will include four separate buildings of stacked & row townhomes, plus an additional building to house water treatment equipment & shared laundry. All buildings to be slab on grade & stick framed. Phase 2 will include construction of the buildings including all finishes and certain site works such as landscaping & asphalt paving     Site development, specifically civil & septic works were included in the phase 1 tender and are not included in this tender   Project located on Galiano Island. Gross Building Area (including utility building) = 16,001 SQFT     Tender Closing Date:   Site Visit:   May 13^th,  2025 @ 3:00 PM   Non-Mandatory site visit April 15^th, 2025 @ 1:30 PM. Quotations must remain valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the general tender close.   Personal emails are not monitored on a regular basis on tender day: use the above email to ensure your quote is received.     Kinetic reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation and to request references for any bidder.   Refer to the Supplemental Specifications and Scope of Work for additional requirements and clarifications. The Supplemental Specifications and Scope of Work are to be read into and form a part of the Drawings and Specifications and Tender Documents for the project and the whole shall constitute part of the Contract Documents.   All requirements indicated on the drawings, specifications and addenda are to be included as part of the Work; however, the General and Supplementary Conditions and Scope of Work may include additional requirements over and above those of the drawings and specifications.  Review all sections of the specifications to determine the requirement for submittals such as shop drawings, samples, mockups and engineered drawings. All requirements contained within the tender documents are to be included in the bid. No claims for extras will be accepted unless exclusions are clearly and specifically identified in the Contractor’s bid.
