Description
The high-level details of the contemplated contract are generally described below. To provide support to Great Bear Rainforest (GBR) Landscape Unit Technical Teams and First Nations on Landscape Reserve Designs (LRDs). To participate, where necessary, in the government-to-government LRD discussions and provide expert advice to representatives. To provide quality assurance on submitted draft LRDs in collaboration with the province.The Province is contemplating a direct award with the Supplier for the following reasons:
The Province has committed to working with the Supplier on GBR-related work given their knowledge of the Great Bear Rainforest Land Use Order, specifically, landscape reserve designs and methodology. The Supplier has been working on the GBR contract deliverables under the mentorship of senior landscape reserve design experts for three years and therefore has the necessary expertise and experience.The term of the contract is expected to be 12 months (April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026).
The aggregate value of the contract is expected not to exceed, exclusive of applicable taxes $5,000.
NOTE: “Until further notice, any challenge brought by a U.S. Supplier to this Notice of Intent will be disregarded and not be considered.”
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 11 month(s).
