Description
BC Parks is inviting proposals to implement prescribed wildfire risk reduction hand treatments (with machine assistance, if proposed) in 60.3 hectares of Dragon Mountain Park over a 4-year contract term, with 13-18 hectares of treatment per year (subject to funding). More hectares of treatment per year may be completed subject to funding. The first year of treatment is intended to be TU2C - 13.9 hectares of treatment.
The objective of treatment is to reduce the risk of wildfire to critical infrastructure within and outside the park, as well as the park’s natural, cultural, and recreation values.

Qualified professional bird surveys may be required to be completed by the contractor if works occur during the restricted bird window.
