South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (“TransLink”) is responsible for planning, financing and operating the public transportation system throughout Metro Vancouver. TransLink’s operating companies include Coast Mountain Bus Company Ltd. (CMBC), British Columbia Rapid Transit Company Ltd. (BCRTC) and West Coast Express Ltd. (WCE) and TransLink Security Management Ltd. (TSML). Additional information is available at www.translink.ca   
                   Project Summary: This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is seeking  proposals for the design, production, supply and delivery of the following Vehicles: • Up to twenty-five (25) 40-foot Diesel Electric (“Hybrid”) Buses with the final Vehicle expected to be delivered no later than end Q2 2028; TransLink is seeking proposals for design, production, supply and delivery of the following Optional Vehicles; • Up to one-hundred (100) of the following Vehicles: 40-foot Diesel Electric (“Hybrid”) Buses or 40-foot Diesel Buses or 60-foot Diesel Buses with delivery expected to begin in Q1 2028 and end Q4 2030; All Vehicle types are as outlined in the Technical Specifications and as more fully described in this RFP.
