One-Year Enterprise Agreement with ESRI Canada Limited

 Notice is hereby given by the City of Vancouver (“City”) of its intent to contract with ESRI Canada Limited (“ESRI Canada”), the sole distributor of the ESRI licenses and solutions for Environmental Systems Research Institute Inc. (“ESRI Inc.”), for a one-year Enterprise Agreement.  SCOPE: The City’s various departments have been using ESRI products and services for almost 20 years to manage, map and analyze geographic data to make informed decisions. The City purchases new licenses on an as needed basis every year and pay for the maintenance services. In order to have the flexibility on acquiring and maintaining licenses, in 2019 the City settled into an Enterprise Agreement with ESRI. ESRI software is the standard for geographic data management, visualization and analysis at the City and ESRI is the sole vendor that can provide an Enterprise Agreement being the only provider of these application licenses and accounts.REASONS FOR THE DIRECT AWARD: The City intends to renew the Enterprise Agreement  with ESRI Canada for one (1) year from 2025 to 2026. By awarding the contract, the City can achieve architectural flexibility on server, desktop and user licensing, maintain product and service continuity and allow the City time to prepare for transitioning to ESRI’s updated licensing model following the next one (1) year. TERM: One (1) year.The contract is valued at approximately $477,400.00 for a period of one (1) year. Anyone wishing to request more information and/or has any questions with regard to this NOITC may use the Q&A Board to do so prior to the closing date and time.
