Fit-Up Analysis, Planning, Implementation and Execution
for B530-00 Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project

Fraser Health (FH) intends to extend the contract to Colliers Project Leaders (CPL) for continuing the Fit-Up planning, implement the plan and fully execute the Fit-Up plan for the Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project (BHRP). The specific phase is Phase 1 – Operational Readiness, Building Readiness.
The additional contract value is up to approximately $200,000 with $300,000 completed for the maximum contract value of up to approximately $500,000, plus tax. FH has chosen not to complete an additional competitive process but intends to extend the contract and negotiate the contemplated contract to CPL for the following reasons:
CPL is well immersed with the BHRP Phase 1 fit-up assessment, planning and execution, able to continue this work and start work immediately with daily local project managers and they hold strong local knowledge of the project and the BH site. CPL has undertaken substantial effort to understand the needs and requirements of the project team, and operational departments/users for the fit-up requirements. CPL maintains an expert knowledge on the fit-up requirements, as required by the project. CPL holds expert fit-up knowledge including expertise in project management, consulting services, and operational readiness of complex healthcare facility projects and will provide comprehensive plans, reducing FH risk, maintaining budget and assured delivery timeframes. CPL project leadership resources include a Project Executive, Fit-up Project Director with more than 15 years of direct healthcare project experience.
