Description
The hospital intends to select one (1) vendor for contract award. If Proponents subcontract any part of the services, the Successful Proponent will assume the overall coordination and responsibility for the work of the subcontractors.
Grand River Hospital is a member of MMC and the CAN Health Network and by participating in this RFP, each Proponent acknowledges and agrees that any current or future member of the CAN Health Network, current or future Mohawk Medbuy members may purchase goods and/or services from the agreement resulting from this RFP, on the same terms and conditions as the purchasing organization listed above.
Submissions are due October 26, 2022 by 4:00 PM EST time.
The Hospital may amend any of the RFP Timetable dates and/or times, in their sole discretion. All RFP amendments will be posted on MERX.
Description of Project/Deliverables
Participating Purchasers are in need of a solution that offer its learners an education and learning application that engages them through short modules to absorb content and reinforce their understanding of key concepts through the application of adult learning principles. This solution is not intended to replace the current LMS, but to be used in conjuction to improve learner experience and concept retention.
The tool should captivate learners by presenting general and department specific content in short bursts that can be consumed in less than 10 minutes. The solution should incorporate adult learning principles in the design and development of the learning experience to reinforce knowledge acquisition and easy recall so that new knowledge can be applied with confidence.
Most importantly, the solution should make it simple for any author to create content within the solution without extensive programming knowledge or experience.
Term of Agreement
The proposed contract is for a one (1) year term, with an option to renew the agreement for an additional five (5) one-year option periods at the Purchasers’ discretion and subject to mutual negotiation and written agreement.
