The Pacific Museum of Earth (PME) at UBC is seeking a qualified digital design and development company to create Mineral Journeys: Pasts, Presents and Futures, an interactive, bilingual online experience funded by Digital Museums Canada. The contractor will collaborate with PME’s exhibit designers and content team on user experience and visual direction and will be responsible for full front- and back-end web development, accessibility implementation (WCAG 2.1 AA), bilingual integration, user testing, quality assurance, and technical documentation. Design assets and illustrations are being developed in-house, but the museum welcomes proposals that include additional design or creative refinement to ensure cohesion and functionality across platforms. The project runs through 2028 and is now entering Phase 2 (User Experience Approach: Content, Design and Technical).
