2026 Notice of Participation

Under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), government procuring entities that participate in buying groups for procurements subject to Chapter 5 are required to post an annual notice of participation and advise where related tendering opportunities are publicly available.

The City of Kelowna, by way of this notice, advises that it may participate from time to time in one or more trade-agreement-compliant buying groups, including municipal, provincial, and sector-specific cooperative purchasing organizations, to procure goods and services.

Tendering opportunities issued by these buying groups are publicly posted on recognized electronic tendering systems, including BC Bid, MERX, and the Alberta Purchasing Connection. Interested suppliers are responsible for monitoring these platforms for current opportunities.

Any goods or services referenced are illustrative only and do not represent a complete list of past or future purchases. This notice is provided for transparency purposes and does not constitute a commitment to procure any specific goods or services in any given year.
