DEVELOPMENT, EVALUATION, AND EVERGREENING OF PROVINCIALLY-REGULATED TRAINING FOR BRITISH COLUMBIA POLICE OFFICERS

Government requires advice and analyses from a subject matter expert in the area of police training and associated processes and methodologies. The contractor will contribute their expertise to the Director of Policing and Law Enforcement Services’ role to superintend policing in BC, including establishing and maintaining BC Provincial Policing Standards (BCPPS).  Specifically, the services required
Include:providing knowledge of policing training and operations, adult learning principles and curriculum development to support the delivery of known and emerging projects and provide expertise to support responses to training-related issues. supporting the development of or evergreening of Provincial police training courses assessing various training courses, course delivery, or mechanisms related to equivalency and/or alignment with requirements in Provincial Policing Standards providing advice and analyses related to: training audience, tasks or learning objectives or outcomes, options or framework, curriculum or systematic design, training requirements, options, and recommendations.
