2026-PRC-01 RCMP HVAC

Work under this Tender consists of the replacement of the existing heating and cooling
system with new rooftop units and split system heat pumps. The Prime Contractor must
oversee and coordinate all necessary work, material, equipment and labour to complete the
Work. The Prime Contractor shall fully coordinate with all involved sub-trades and ensure
the Work is completed successfully, including but not limited to the following:
A. Demolition: Removal and disposal of all equipment, ducting, piping and components
associated with the existing system for heating and cooling.
B. Electrical: Installation and provision of all wiring, connections/disconnections and
power requirements for newly installed equipment.
C. Mechanical: Installation and provision of all ducting, hangers, penetrations,
insulation, connections/transitions, refrigeration and condensate piping and
components associated with newly installed equipment.
D. Roofing: Installation and provision of supports, roof curbs, roof penetrations, reworks,
finishing associated with the installation of new equipment.
E. Seismic Review: Provision and supplement all new equipment with appropriate
seismic restraints in alignment with relevant codes and standards.
F. TAB: Completion of testing, adjusting, and balancing the function and performance
of all equipment in the mechanical system.
G. Controls: Provision all wiring, programming, and control devices required to
integrate control interfaces with new mechanical systems.
