Description
VGN Resources Group Inc. (VGN) will be the Program Administrator for projects under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food's (Ministry) extension programming for environment and climate change.  This NOI and project is administered by VGN on behalf of the Ministry. 

The objective is to document practical experience, opportunities, limitations, and uncertainties associated with the use of virtual fencing under normal operating conditions on two ranches in the East Kootenays.Work with ranchers through interviews and regular field engagement throughout collar training and grazing season use. Use rancher-led expertise and direction to develop and implement simple observation plans/paddocks and practical field checklists. Coordinate with a multi-agency Technical Advisory Committee. Synthesize field observations and rancher experience into clear, accessible learning products and reports. Share information products with ranchers in the East Kootenays.

The estimated contract period will be 10 month(s).
