12978 Process Mining Proof of Value - Information Technology

Solicitation number BC228955

Publication date

Closing date and time 2026/05/20 17:00 EDT

    Description
The City of Kelowna has opted for a competitive procurement process to secure process mining professional services for a Proof of Value (PoV) initiative, targeting customer service request intake and assignment processes. This engagement demands highly specialized expertise in process mining and data-driven process discovery, paired with proven public sector delivery experience and a proprietary methodology that surpasses standard process mining approaches. Unlike traditional business process reviews, analytics, or workflow mapping, the objective is to leverage large volumes of system-generated event data from multiple service request systems to reconstruct end-to-end processes, uncover process variants, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities not detectable through interviews, workshops, or conventional BPM techniques. The ultimate goal is to use this data-driven approach to pinpoint inefficiencies, enhance transparency, assess service level performance, and guide future improvements in service delivery across various intake channels and backend systems.
