Description
The Ministry of Environment and Parks is undertaking a program to complete flood remediation works from damage caused by the 2021 Atmospheric River Event at Coquihalla Summit Park.
The Coquihalla Summit Park -Falls Lake Creek Crossing contract consists of the supply and installation of materials, including all labour, equipment and tools related to flood remediation work, site preparation, all in accordance with the drawings and specifications, and for the prices tendered in the Schedule of Quantities and Unit Price Table.
The Coquihalla Summit Park - Falls Lake Creek Crossing work is generally described as follows:
Remove and dispose of the temporary crossing from the parking lot to the trail. Remove and dispose of three (3) steel pipe culverts under the North bank. Supply and install crushed gravel and fill to build up the approaches on either side of the creek Supply and install a pre-engineered pedestrian footbridge crossing with abutments (including pre-cast concrete pads, lock blocks, non-woven filter fabric, fastening hardware and leveling fill). Supply and install appropriate erosion and sediment control measures. If required, supply and install wildlife exclusion silt fence measures. Supply and install worksite isolation measures to prevent drips or release of deleterious substances to the environment.Tenders must be accompanied with a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total Tendered Price.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
