Description
Through this Request for Proposal (Opportunity), the City of Kelowna, here after referred to as the “City”, invites proposals for the construction of:
Upgrading the South Lake Dam to comply with the Government of British Columbia Dam Safety Regulation and address deficiencies identified in the 2022 dam safety review. Work includes improving access roads and ATV routes, rehabilitating the dam crest and drainage systems, adding riprap erosion protection to the upstream dam slope, widening and replacing the spillway, replacing the log boom, clearing vegetation near the dam, and installing new monitoring instrumentation at the low-level outlet.
Substantial Performance for all Work is to be achieved no later September 30, 2026.
