Description
The works to be constructed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following:
Riverlodge Distribution Upgrade:Removal and disposal of existing main distribution centre. Supply and installation of new main distribution centre and associated equipment specified. Provision of new BC Hydro approved CT meter enclosure and meter base. Coordination with BC Hydro for all required shutdowns and connections to new equipment. Coordination with Owner (District of Kitimat) for all required shutdowns and connections to new equipment.
Mandatory Site Visit: Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 1:30pm at the Riverlodge Recreation Centre, #654 W Columbia Avenue, Kitimat, B.C., V8C 1V5.
Tender documents may be obtained from the District of Kitimat on or after May 20, 2026. The Bid Documents can be obtained from District of Kitimat. Contact Holly Thomopoulos at engineering@kitimat.ca.
Tenders must be accompanied by a Certified Cheque or Bid Bond valid for a period of 60 days in the amount of 10% of the tendered price as bid security. The District of Kitimat reserves the right to reject all tenders or to award the Contract to other than the lowest tender received if it perceives that to be in its best interests.
