Architect Services for Active Living Centre (ALC)
Invitation to Respondents
Through this Request for Proposal, the City of Vernon (the “City”) invites Proposals for Architect Services to join a highly collaborative Integrated Project Delivery (“IPD”) team for the delivery of the Active Living Centre (“ALC”) project.
The City seeks to create a partnership with a qualified Architecture firm to participate in the ALC project. Experience and familiarity with IPD ideology, methodology and mindset are vital. The Architect team should have considerable experience with designing facilities which are similar to the ALC requirements.
Onboarding and early work for the Architect would ideally commence approximately May 2023 and continue through the duration of the ALC project to approximately September 2026. The City requires the Respondent to have available, qualified staff and capacity to deliver specialized expertise for all aspects of the IPD phases inclusive of:
Pre-Validation – Validation – Design – Construction – Commissioning – Post Commissioning

The City of Vernon reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of any proposal, and to accept the Proposal in total or in part, or to accept the Proposal which it deems most favourable in the interest of the City of Vernon.
