Description
The Ministry of Health seeks a highly specialized Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical and clinical leadership in support of five core Health Information Standards (HIS) objectives: maintaining terminology and concept standards, advancing information and structural standards, enabling a sustainable standards service model, promoting vendor and clinical adoption, and strengthening data quality through consistent governance.
The SME will bring deep expertise in SNOMED CT, LOINC, and HL7 standards (including FHIR, V2, and CDA) to support the delivery, sustainability, and operationalization of HIS. This role will focus on resolving complex implementation challenges, supporting sector-wide adoption of standards, and ensuring alignment with the Provincial Data Plan and pan-Canadian interoperability initiatives.

The estimated contract period will be 33 month(s).
