Description
The Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals (MCM) requires the professional services of one (1) geotechnical engineer with significant mining experience in British Columbia, including specific expertise in underground design to provide “as, if and when requested” required services. This work will involve detailed technical reviews for Environmental Assessment Act and Mines Act Permit applications, detailed geotechnical assessment and design related to portal and mine openings closure, underground mine stability, ground and slope stability, tailings storage facilities, and dams, and onsite and desktop inspections of underground excavations, open pits, waste rock dumps, tailings storage facilities, dams, water management structures, haul roads and building foundations for compliance with the Mines Act and the Health, Safety and Reclamation Code for Mines in B.C.
