Construction of flood mitigation works along Bessette Creek for two Work Packages.

The invitation to Request for Tender is issued electronically through AE Bids and Tenders at Bids and Tenders - AE BC, where interested parties may download the Tender Documents directly from the website. All addenda, amendments, or other relevant information will be issued through the same platform. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to monitor this website and to obtain, prior to the closing date and time, any addenda or updates issued by the Village.

The Work includes construction of flood mitigation works along Bessette Creek for the following Work Packages:Work Package No. 1 (Quesnel to Maple St. Dike): Construction of approximately 500 m of AZ19-700 steel sheet pile dike from Quesnel Road to Maple Street along the right bank of Bessette Creek, including excavation, utility protection, vibration and settlement monitoring, environmental mitigation measures, steel capping installation, tie-ins, and associated property restoration works as required. Work Package No. 2 (WWT Lagoons Bank Protection): Construction of approximately 160 m of Class 50 kg riprap bank protection and live-staking along the left bank of Bessette Creek adjacent to the Village’s Wastewater Treatment Facility Lagoons, including erosion and sediment control measures, stream isolation and water management, subgrade shaping, environmental protection measures, riprap placement and associated restoration works.
