    Description
    The project seeks to create an innovative, culturally meaningful, nature-based outdoorlearning and play environment that reflects Indigenous values and local culturalteachings while providing safe and engaging play opportunities for children aged 0–8years.
     The project also includes seeking the services of a qualified team to provide planning,site assessment, design, cost estimating, and permitting support for the development ofa secure school bus storage area.
     The proposed secure school bus storage area facility will accommodate a fleet consisting of:Two (2) 24-passenger school buses; and one (1) 72-passenger school bus.The intent of the school bus storage facility project is to provide a safe, functional, and securestorage area that supports school transportation operations while meeting applicablemunicipal, provincial, environmental, and safety requirements.
     The project includes nature inspired playground equipment, timber borders and/or engineeredwood borders and ideas for re-surfacing the existing playground space for ʔaq̓am School,located at 7500 Mission Road, Cranbrook, in the ʔaq̓am community.
