NVSS Washroom Renovation

This project consists of the renovation of a male and female washroom at Nechako Valley Secondary School (NVSS). The work includes the conversion to gender-neutral washroom facilities with individual toilet rooms, accessible washrooms, and associated common hand washing areas. Work includes architectural, mechanical, and electrical modifications as indicated in the Contract Documents, including new partition walls, doors, finishes, plumbing fixtures, accessories, lighting, and related systems. Before Contractor mobilization, SD-91 will complete the demolition of this project, excluding electrical and wiring demolition. This work shall remain within the Contractor's scope. Existing entrance doors will remain in place prior to mobilization for security measures and are to be removed by the Contractor as required to facilitate the Work. The Owner will supply the fixtures and majority of the materials for installation by the Contractor as identified in the Contract Documents. Bidders shall review the drawings and specifications carefully and include all labor, materials, equipment, coordination, and incidental work required to provide a complete and functional installation. Any uncertainties regarding project scope, existing conditions, Owner-supplied items, or bidding requirements shall be raised through the formal tender question process prior to the question deadline. There is one cash allowance for relocation of an existing intercom system panel of $35,000 for Inland Controls to be carrier by the contractor.
