City of Castlegar South Sewage Treatment Plant (SSTP) North Train Renewal - Subtrades

The South Sewage Treatment Plant (SSTP)  North Train Renewal project is being delivered under a Construction Management (CM) model, with Chandos Construction LP acting as Construction Manager on behalf of the City of Castlegar. The tender package for the SSTP North Train Renewal includes demolition, civil works, temporary bypass systems, process and mechanical upgrades, aeration modifications, blower building improvements, clarifier steel coating, and associated water service works.  As the Work will be undertaken within a fully operational wastewater treatment facility, maintaining uninterrupted plant operations throughout construction is a critical project requirement. The subcontractors will be responsible to work with Construction Manager for detailed construction sequencing, temporary bypass systems, coordination with the Owner’s operations staff, and all temporary works necessary to always maintain treatment capacity and effluent quality.
