The City of Victoria is undertaking electrical upgrades to City owned building at 812 Wharf Street. This Art Deco building is located at the intersection of Government Street and Wharf Street, across from the Empress Hotel, was originally built in 1931. This building has multiple tenant spaces, including Tourism Victoria Visitor Centre, whale watching and a multi-level restaurant. The planned electrical upgrades are for replacement of end-of-life equipment and to improve life safety.
