Description
The Town of Qualicum Beach invites quotes from qualified contractors for the Memorial Avenue at Fir Street Crosswalk Installation, RFQ No. 2026-23. The project includes construction of a new commemorative pedestrian crosswalk, pedestrian safety improvements, concrete curb and sidewalk works, installation of solar powered rectangular rapid flashing beacons, and a new streetlight.
 The work is intended to improve pedestrian safety and create a respectful commemorative feature at Memorial Avenue and Fir Street. The successful contractor will provide the labour, materials, equipment, supervision, traffic control, coordination, and related services needed to complete the project by November 6, 2026, in advance of Remembrance Day.
