Description
The District of North Saanich is requesting proposals from qualified individuals, organizations, co-operatives, or businesses interested in operating the North Saanich Harvest Hub. The North Saanich Harvest Hub is a municipally supported initiative being developed by the District of North Saanich to strengthen the local agricultural economy and improve regional food system infrastructure. The Harvest Hub is intended to provide shared services and infrastructure that support small-scale farmers and food producers through aggregation, primary processing, storage, retail, and distribution services.
