Summary Details
This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the City of Salmon Arm to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Hwy 97B Watermain Upgrade, as further described in the RFP documents.The watermain upgrade replaces the existing from 10 Avenue SE to the north approximatly 1.2km on the west side of provincial highway 97B.
The Contract is generally for the following work:
•Supply & Installation of 1,254m of 300mm DR18 PVC watermain, appurtenances and tie-ins.
•Supply & Installation of 18m of 200mm DR18 PVC watermain, appurtenances and tie-ins
•Supply & Installation of 12 short 38mm PEX A water services.
•Supply & Install 8 38mm long 38mm PEX A water services, installed through 50mm Schedule 40 Steel
Casing Pipe drilled or jacked under the highway.
•Remove & Reinstallation of approximately 300m2 of 100mm asphalt pavement.
•Removal of existing 1000-gallon water tank & PRV.
•Common excavation and disposal or re-use of surplus materials.
•Landscape restoration.
•Boulevard & ditch grading & hydro-seeding.
