Description
The Project will replace the existing Malahat Building with an approximately 600 m² office facility for approximately 35 BC Parks and Conservation Officer Service staff. The work includes multidisciplinary design, required site investigations and permitting, demolition, construction, servicing, commissioning, training, handover, and coordination within an active park operations compound.
The Province's priorities are durability, quality, lifecycle performance, operational reliability, public and project safety, and cost certainty. The completed facility must achieve a minimum 50-year service life. The construction window is December 2026 through September 2027, followed by commissioning, deficiency correction, rehabilitation, and closeout.
