Description
Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) is seeking to pre-qualify qualified engineering firms or individuals to provide Engineering Services, including prime consultant services, on an as-and-when-required basis. Individual assignments will have a maximum services value of $75,000.
Services may include investigations and feasibility studies, technical and condition assessments, engineering analysis and evaluations, planning and design, preparation of drawings and specifications, cost estimating, scheduling, risk assessments, procurement support, contract administration, site reviews and inspections, testing and commissioning, and project close-out services. Services may be required across a range of disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, environmental, building envelope, fire protection, transportation, energy, sustainability and other specialty engineering disciplines.
To be considered for pre-qualification, Respondents must demonstrate that they carry Commercial General Liability insurance of at least $5 million and Professional Liability insurance of at least $1 million, have an active WorkSafeBC account, are accredited and registered with Engineers & Geoscientists BC (EGBC), including the firm and proposed individual resources, and have relevant and successful experience providing Engineering Services. The list of pre-qualified service providers will be in place for up to three years. During this period, JIBC may invite pre-qualified service providers to participate in subsequent competitive procurement processes or, where appropriate, negotiate directly with a pre-qualified service provider for specific assignments.
