This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for the renovation of the existing Linear Accelerator (LINAC) Vault 6 and associated support spaces at BC Cancer Surrey, located adjacent to Surrey Memorial Hospital. The work will support the replacement of the existing Varian TrueBeam system with a new Varian Ethos Linear Accelerator and associated Surface-Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT) equipment. The project includes demolition and renovation works within the existing vault, control room, corridor, and waiting area, including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical modifications required to accommodate the new equipment. Scope includes floor slab and ceiling modifications, new millwork, lighting, plumbing fixtures, finishes, and associated infrastructure upgrades. Modifications to the existing control room and change room are also included to support clinical and operational requirements. Construction will be carried out within an active healthcare facility and will require coordination with BC Cancer, PHSA, IPAC & FMO team. The project will be delivered using a Design-Bid-Build procurement modelThe ready-for-takeover date is anticipated to be May 3rd, 2027.
