The Owner is seeking to engage a general contractor to complete the Roads and Drainage Improvements project. All works will be done in accordance with the Drawings, MMCD specifications, and supplemental specifications in the enclosed sample agreement. The completion of the following work is expected (approximate quantities):
- Chinook Cove Subdivision
- 700m3 – Topsoil stripping. Stockpile onsite for reuse
- 1,600m3 – Topsoil stripping. To offsite disposal
- 1,000m3 – Common Excavation. Stockpile onsite for reuse
- 400m3 – Common Excavation. To offsite disposal
- 7,700m2 – Subgrade preparation. Graded and compacted.
- 8,900m2 – 19mm minus road base 150mm thick. Graded and compacted
- 7,700m2 – 50mm thick hot mix asphalt as per MMCD specifications
- 9,100m2 – Hydroseeding disturbed slopes and ditches
- 250 l.m – 450mm CSP culverts for driveways
- 36 l.m – 600mm CSP culverts for road crossings. 4 concrete headwalls
- Kenkeknem Subdivision
- 2900 m2 – Remove and dispose of existing asphalt
- 290m3 – Topsoil stripping. Stockpile onsite for reuse
- 1,600m3 – Topsoil stripping. To offsite disposal
- 350m3 – Common Excavation. Stockpile onsite for reuse
- 2,000m3 – Common Excavation. To offsite disposal
- 6,200m2 – Subgrade preparation. Graded and compacted
- 7,100m2 – 19mm minus road base 150mm thick. Graded and compacted.
- 200m2 - 19mm minus 100mm thick for driveway restoration
- 6,200m2 – 50mm thick hot mix asphalt as per MMCD specifications
- 7,150m2 – Hydroseeding disturbed slopes and ditches
- 100 l.m – 450mm CSP culverts for driveways
- 20 l.m – 600mm CSP culverts for road crossings. 2 concrete headwalls
