Tenders must be submitted digitally to either dhouse@true.bc.ca and apaulson@true.bc.ca OR directly through the BC Bid Website up to 1:00 PM local time, Friday, May 31st, 2024. Tenders must be submitted with the subject line “310-041-002: WWTP Dewatering Upgrade – Phase 2”. To submit electronically to the BC Bid website a BCeID is required as only pre-authorized electronic bidders registered on the BC Bid system can make an electronic Submission. Electronic submissions must be accompanied by certified digital copies of bonding documents (i.e. E-Bonds).
The project comprises the following works and approximate quantities:
- The installation of owner supplied equipment including: Alfa Laval Decanter Centrifuge Aldec 20, control panel and variable frequency drive unit, Seepex progressive cavity feed pump, Endress and Hauser flow meter, Prominent emulsion polymer system and metering pump unit, and Atara shaftless screw conveyor complete with appurtenances.
- Supply and installation of Decanter Centrifuge support stand.
- Supply and installation of all stainless steel process piping including pipe couplings, plug valves, ball valves, pressure relief valve, solenoid valves, and pipe supports.
- Supply and installation of all SCH80 PVC piping including fitting, bends, valves, pipe supports, and appurtenances.
- Supply and installation of pump sump FRP grating with support angles.
- Supply and installation of roll-up insulated door.
- Process electrical and instrumentation.
- Building electrical and Heating.
- Removals of existing belt filter press and all associated electrical panels and infrastructure.
Tender Documents are available electronically on the BC Bid website. Printed copies are available from the offices of TRUE Consulting (Kamloops) at a cost of $100.00, which is non-refundable. A Planholder Registration Form must be completed and emailed to TRUE Consulting at info@true.bc.ca in order to receive any addendums and/or additional information regarding this tender. It is the sole responsibility of the Planholder to ensure that the Registration Form has been received by TRUE Consulting.
Tenders must be accompanied by the following:
- A BID BOND, CASH DEPOSIT, CERTIFIED CHEQUE or IRREVOCABLE LETTER OF CLEAN CREDIT in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Tendered Price.
- If a Bid Bond is provided, a CONSENT OF SURETY relating to subsequent security arrangements for PERFORMANCE and LABOUR AND MATERIALS PAYMENT GUARANTEES.
If the information stipulated above is not enclosed with the Tender at the time of opening, the Tender will be rejected. Tenders received after the closing time will be returned unopened. The lowest or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted.
