Description
The City of Nanaimo invites submissions from qualified engineering consulting firms that have experience with the application and use of geographic information systems (GIS), Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) technology and civil engineering in a government setting. This would include but is not limited to experience with civil engineering as-built drawing plan and profile interpretation, GIS utility model data capture and management, mapping, modeling, script development with python and spatial analysis.  The objective of this procurement is to select and retain one (1) consultant to deliver civil engineering related professional GIS services to the City on an as and when requested basis and aid City staff in meeting the operational and strategic objectives of the City of Nanaimo Geographic Information System (GIS).
