reasonable standards of care delivery, causing spaces within the department to have multiple functions, including storage of equipment, medication, supplies, etc. This is less than ideal, as it causes cramped spaces, and impedes access to necessary supplies. Overall, the spaces are too small, and all perform multiple functions, which impedes productivity. The intent of this project is to create a larger, more functional space that improves cultural safety and the patient experience, while addressing the concerns noted above.
