Notice is hereby given PROVINCIAL HEALTH SERVICES AUTHORITY (“PHSA”), acting on its own behalf, and as agent for FRASER HEALTH AUTHORITY, INTERIOR HEALTH AUTHORITY, NORTHERN HEALTH AUTHORITY, VANCOUVER COASTAL HEALTH AUTHORITY AND VANCOUVER ISLAND HEALTH AUTHORITY (“Health Authorities”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide lapatinib (Tykerb®).
The initial term will be for a three (3) year terms, with a two (2) year option to extend. The contract has an estimated value of $104.0K CAD over the five (5) year term.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority(s) has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process because the goods can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason:
(a) the protection of patents, copyrights or other exclusive rights
Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of David Peters, Buyer, Clinical Sourcing Pharmacy, by email to pharmacyteam@phsa.ca before 2:00pm Pacific Time, July 15, 2022 PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.
