    Description
    The City of Nanaimo requests Proposals from qualified and experienced Contractors (the “Proponent”) to perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance, ad-hoc Preventative Maintenance and Repairs on various types of fitness equipment located within our Recreational Facilities and Fire Stations.  Fitness equipment under warranty is excluded. 

    A one-time only non-mandatory Pre-Proposal site meeting for weight rooms located at Beban Park Recreation Centre and Nanaimo Aquatic Centre will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.  The Non-Mandatory Site Meeting will start at 12:00 noon at Beban Park Recreation Centre, 2300 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, BC outside pool entrance door.  Further details and information  refer to Section 2.3 of the RFP Document.

    This Request for Bid is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, Canadian Free Trade Agreement - Chapter 5, and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) - Chapter 19.
