Description
The Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General, Policing and Security Branch is intending to expand a directly awarded project management contract for the following work/service:
The Contractor will assume the central coordination role of the Critical Incident Secretariat. The role will include acquiring and maintaining situational awareness on environmental protests across the government, as well as assisting the coordination of proactive, strategic responses to critical incidents with identified implications to public safety. A primary function of the role will be to ensure that accurate, timely and consistent messages are produced and shared through effective stakeholder engagements between law enforcement and BC Provincial Government. This includes a significant component of First Nations and First Nation governments in BC.
