Description
BC Transit is a Crown corporation of the Province of British Columbia responsible for coordinating the delivery of transit services in the Province outside the Metro Vancouver area. Its mandate includes marketing, planning, funding, constructing and operating, either directly or indirectly, in over 130 communities throughout the province.

BC Transit and the Province of BC are making significant investments in new transit facilities that support low-carbon fleets, creating more sustainable transportation options that shorten travel times, and increase the reliability of public transit. Supporting growth in ridership and expanding the British Columbia’s conventional bus system is essential to meet the demands of its growing population and to deliver transit services it can rely on.

Each year, facility audits and condition assessments are completed to identify and prioritize equipment investments. The scope of this program includes:
    • Boiler Replacements
    • Wash Bay Stations
