Description
The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) is seeking proposals from suitably qualified consultants with a proven track record for writing, submitting, and securing grants for operational programs, and new capital projects and purchases to provide Grant Writer Services for the Peace River Regional District (PRRD) on an as-needed basis.
Reporting to the Electoral Area Manager, the Grant Writer will assist the PRRD and not-for-profit
community groups within the PRRD in identifying available grant funding opportunities and developing
and writing grant applications. The overall goal of the grant writer is to apply for as many grants as
possible to help the region access funding in support of crucial development projects and initiatives
throughout the region. The grant writer will also be tasked with promoting the availability of grants to
the community groups, encouraging them to apply, and holding at least one public workshop in the
North Peace and the South Peace during the contract term.
Experience with working with not-for-profit community groups, local governments, elected officials, and
Indigenous communities is an asset.

PROPOSALS for “Grant Writing Services - Electoral Area B, C, D & E RFP 46-2022” must be uploaded, submitted, and finalized prior to the Submission Deadline of Date 2:00 PM MST. We strongly recommend that you give yourself sufficient time and at least ONE (1) day before the Submission Deadline to begin the uploading process and to finalize your submission.
Each proponent will be solely responsible for examining all the RFP documents, including any addenda issued during the RFP period and for independently informing itself with respect to any and all information contained therein, and any and all conditions that may in any way affect the proposal, before the proposal is submitted.
The Regional District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities at its own discretion. The lowest or any proposal will not necessarily be accepted and the Regional District reserves the right to negotiate terms and conditions with the successful proponent.
