    Suppliers are invited to tender for Phase One of the Port Hardy Indoor Pool Tank Remediations and Mechanical Systems Upgrade to address the following aspects: Procurement and Contracting Requirements; General Requirements; Architectural, Structural, Mechanical & Electrical Sections. Offers signed under seal, executed, and dated will be received by the District of Port Hardy. Located at 7360 Columbia Street, Port Hardy, BC V0N 2P0, before 2:00pm local time on Thursday, September 15th, 2022. The time piece at the location for receiving bids shall be the only measure for the exact time. All Bidders must register with a Bidding System Vendor account and be registered as a Plan Taker for this Bid opportunity. This will allow you to download the Bid Call Documents, to receive Addenda email notifications, to submit a bid, and other features.     The work to be undertaken generally includes the following:1. Port Hardy Indoor Pool Tank Remediations and Mechanical Systems Upgrade
    2. Structural, Mechanical and Electrical works also required.
    There will be an opportunity to review the project during a non-mandatory but strongly recommended site tour to be held on September 8th, 2022. Time 11:00 am. Invites will be sent to interested bidders. Contractors that will be attending the Site Tour are to confirm their attendance to Heather Nelson-Smith by 2:00 pm on September 6th. If there are no confirmations, the tour will not proceed. There will NOT be further opportunities to examine the site during the tender period. Following the site tour the design team and client will be available to gather and respond to questions. Bid Bond:
    A Ten Percent (10%) Bid Bond must accompany the tender. A fifty Percent (50%) Labour and
    Materials Bond and a Fifty Percent (50%) Performance Bond must be provided by the selected
    Contractor within 10 days of award. Bonding is to be submitted electronically via BC Bid. Contract:
    The successful Contractor will be required to enter into a CCDC2-2020 Stipulated Price Contract for the Work with reference to all CCDC2-2020 terms and conditions included.
