Description
Project Scope:
- Phasing plan for construction activities required as the ED will remain in operation during renovations
- MEP and security systems impacted by renovations to be included in design
- Secure zone for safe medication administration (enclosed area)
- Add (4) confidential areas/workstations for Physician consultation/documentation
- Improve overall storage opportunities
- Reconfigure nurse stations to higher (standing) millwork with under counter storage options and possible glazing screens where practicable.
Out of Project Scope:
- Central Nursing Station area only - no outside treatment areas are included.
- Hazardous materials that are not confirmed or anticipated are not part of the approved scope.
Type of Contract: AIBC 8C-2021 - 5-month period
