    Description
    Project Overview:The Dr. F. W. Green Memorial Home (FWG) long-term care (LTC) home in Cranbrook, British Columbia (B.C.) has 60 long-term residents. The scope of this project is the replacement and expansion of FWG on the existing campus, using land currently dedicated to staff parking and the building’s emergency generator. 
    Phase 1 will be the construction to replace the existing home, including 63 single-occupant resident rooms and all LTC support services. Phase 2 will be demolition of the vacated home and then construction of an interconnected addition with 84 single-occupant resident rooms, Adult Day Services space, and a new childcare space.

    Key Deliverables:Interior Health invites submissions of Expressions of Interest from interested parties who can provide the following:
  • Coordinate resident relocation, including scheduling the move and staff required. 
  • IHA will provide healthcare staff where necessary for each resident move.
  • Develop planning documentation and detailed schedule in collaboration with the Proponent Managed User Group Meetings.
  • Provide all necessary labour, transportation, and/or moving equipment and supplies for the physical relocation.
  • Assist with packing, unpacking, and placement of all items at their destination.
  • Supply all required labour, hardware, and fasteners for the complete removal and reinstallation of all wall mounted items.
  • Provide a thorough evaluation of all relocated equipment prior to the move and develop a report or checklist detailing any work that needs to be done by the contractor or an outside vendor. This may include (but is not limited to) utilities disconnections or reconnections which the Seller is not required to perform.  All EOI and addenda documentation will be posted on IH - Bids and Tenders
