Description
The City has an immediate need for permanent housing solutions in all sectors of the Housing Spectrum. The City is exploring community housing solutions to address this need, including housing development opportunities. The City will evaluate the Expressions of Interest received, create a short list of the interested parties, and use the RFEI submissions to finalize a project development plan. Depending on the response, the City may elect to move forward with a short-listed party or choose to issue a Request for Proposal to the short-listed parties at a later date, to confirm a proponent to lead a project.
Information Requested
All Expressions of Interest must include the following components:
• A cover letter:
o indicating a contact person, and interest.
• Project Partnerships
o Descriptions of partnerships, operators, or sub-consultants intended to be utilized for a project and the rationale for them.
• Developer capabilities and suitability
o Company profile and descriptions of capacity and strength
o Organizational structure and description of the development team
o Summary of previous completed residential projects (all sizes and scope) with noted references (minimum of three)
o Confirmation of whether your company has local experience in development projects in small communities as well as the area and region.
