Description
PHSA invites Proposals from qualified parties for the supply of the Products and Services to the Health Authorities in accordance with the specifications and requirements set out in this RFP.
Proponents should provide fixed pricing for a Contract term of five (5) years and two (2) option for renewal terms with one (1) year each to be determined at PHSA’s sole discretion, up to a combined total Contract duration of no more than seven (7) years. Proponents should identify all ingredients of the Products and Services included in the proposal.
The Products have been separated into four (4) categories and the intent of this RFP is to award separate Contract(s) for each of the following categories or any such combination determined most pragmatic by PHSA:
  • Anesthesia
  • General Medicine
  • Nutrition Electrolytes
  • Oncology
Proponent(s) may submit Proposals for more than one category and may be awarded Contract(s) for more than one category. By submitting a Proposal, the Proponent confirms its ability to provide the breadth of Products along with the associated estimated volumes for the respective category as mentioned in Schedule J1 - CIVA (Core Items) Pricing Sheet. The scope can be expanded to include some or all of Non-Core CIVA products depending upon overall value offered to PHSA. The decision to include Non-Core CIVA products mentioned in Schedule J2 - CIVA (Non-Core Items) Pricing Sheet in Contract will be at the sole discretion of PHSA.
Furthermore, PHSA seeks to satisfy the following objectives in Contract(s) resulting from this RFP:
i) attain full range of required sterile CIVA products at best overall value;
ii) enhance service and delivery of products;
iii) improve patient experience;
iv) simplify supply chain;
v) attain timely and accurate reporting and quality results;
vi) establish a product supply agreement with the Rated Proponent(s);
vii) attain barcode compliance to support closed loop medication administration;
viii) achieve a successful implementation/conversion, if applicable.

All quantities or dollar values specified in this RFP are approximate and are based on annual estimated requirements and should be considered an approximation and is supplied solely as a guideline to Proponents.
PHSA reserves the right to alter the RFP by adding or deleting Services delivery requirements/levels as required by the Health Authorities.
