Description
The Building and Safety Standards Branch (BSSB), in the Ministry of Attorney General and Minister Responsible for Housing, seeks a consultant to update the existing Part 3 and Part 9 compliance tools and manuals to include new features, reflect proposed changes to the BC Building Code regarding 20%-better energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions, and make it easier to use and interpret by a range of potential audiences. The Microsoft Excel-based tools and user manuals are intended to be published soon after the next revision to the BC Building Code expected in December 2022. The successful proponent will also offer three months of technical support to update the tools in response to general user feedback after they are launched
