Description
The Province is seeking a contractor to provide manual brushing and vegetation management services within designated treatment units on the South Island. The work includes manual cutting, girdling, and related vegetation control methods to support crop tree growth, following the performance standards and treatment specifications outlined in Schedule A.
Brushing activities must be completed by October 31, 2026, and will include treatment of deciduous competitors such as alder, maple coppices, willow, and cherry in accordance with the species specific instructions in Schedule C. The Ministry may conduct walkthroughs and formal inspections to confirm compliance, with rework or penalties applied where work does not meet the prescribed standards.

The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
