Description
This project includes the manual brushing of approximately 53 hectares and up to 50 person days of ‘day rate’ brushing within BC Timber Sales’ Arrow North Field Unit. Treatment units are spread across the field unit and are generally within 100 km of Nakusp BC. Manual brushing includes cutting all competing vegetation within a 1.25m cylinder around crop trees in accordance with the contract treatment specifications. All specific information regarding crop trees species, heights, target vegetation and other important information is included in the Appendix I – 2026 Brushing Treatment Ledger.

All contract related questions must be submitted in writing ONLY to the following email address: Forests.KootenayTimberSalesOffice@gov.bc.ca. Deadline for receiving questions is 12:00 pm on May 6, 2026.  If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by May 7, 2026.

Tender submissions must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender package.

If your bid deposit is in the form of cash, money order, certified cheque or bank draft, you will not be able to e-bid. See allowable submission delivery method(s) above. Also see Conditions of Tender for acceptable bid securities.

The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

Unverified bid results will be posted to BC Bid after tender opening and once awarded the contract award results will be available on BC Bid.
